SF ACM SIGGRAPH: Game Development Using Autodesk Tools

Apparently this is so important that I got three emails about it, each an hour apart, but here it is. On May 22nd, there will be a free event where the presenters, Greg Castle and Louis Marcoux, will talk about game development with Autodesk tools.

The event will happen on May 22nd from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Autodesk Gallery, 1 Market Street, San Francisco 2nd Floor.
Schedule: 6:30 pm: Introduction to Autodesk product line (+ Gameware) and company strategy
7:00 pm: 3dsMax/Maya/Mobu/Softimage/Mudbox latest features and workflows
8:00 pm: Round table developer tips and tricks
8:30 pm: Drinks & Food
Greg Castle is a Senior Marketing Manager at Autodesk specializing in the Gaming Industry. The products he covers include 3dsMax, Maya, Softimage, Mudbox and Mobu as well as the Gameware portfolio. Previous to joining Autodesk in 2011 he was the Director of Marketing at Scaleform, a popular UI middleware tool. Greg received a BS in International Business and Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2001. Louis Marcoux is an Autodesk Technical Specialist for 3D Animation and Visual Effects since 2003. Prior to Autodesk, he was a real-time broadcast graphics specialist for 5 years, working with Discreet Logic and Vertigo X media. Louis received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique in Montreal and also holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from UQAM and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Concordia University.
